Workforce Solutions North Texas Child Care program provides subsidized child care to eligible families who are working, attending school, or participating in a training program. Services are available throughout the area served, which includes the following counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young. |
Families must meet certain eligibility criteria to qualify for child care assistance. Examples include receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and participating in the Choices program, having a low income, attending work or training a specified number of hours per week The children must be citizens of the United States of America. Eligibility screening can be completed in a telephone call but proof of citizenship, verification of employment/income, or school attendance will be required prior to receiving services. |
