Workforce Solutions North Texas is partnering and participating with the Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind for White Cane Safety Day 2023.
Come join the walk! The event will start at 10AM on October 18th, 2023 at the Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind (300 7th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301).
Sighted participants will be blindfolded and walk from the Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind to O’Reilly Park and back after a quick lesson. Lunch will be provided afterward by the First National Bank Grillers.
