Workforce Solutions North Texas’ mission is to place North Texans in jobs and equip workers with skills that foster economic development. Collaboration with our community partners is essential to the success of our mission. We want to honor our community partners by highlighting the great work they do in support of our community and its workforce. We understand that it is not possible for us to know the breadth and depth of this work, so we are asking YOU to contribute your knowledge and experience and lift them up through the nomination forms below.

All-Star College of the Year

Nominations should honor a community college, technical college, or Texas engineering extension service whose:

efforts and partnership have improved the Texas workforce system and local community efforts
by identifying, creating, and contributing skills enhancement and training in order to best support business needs
Must have received or be currently receiving a Skills Development Fund grant.

HireAbility Employer of the Year

Nominations should recognize a private-sector employer:

who uses innovative approaches to foster an inclusive workforce; and
who hires Texans with disabilities

Local Employer of Excellence

Nominations should recognize:

a private-sector employer whose efforts and initiatives have had a positive effect on the employers, workers, and the community
a business who, as a customer and collaborator with Workforce Solutions North Texas, created or used innovative approaches to support Texas workforce system’s mission of ensuring that Texas remains economically competitive
